Lot-based inventory with expiry tracking
FreshTrack records inventory by batch or lot. Two batches of the same product can therefore have different expiry dates and be managed separately.
This is especially useful when stock should be consumed according to FEFO: first expired, first out.
Expiry control
Each lot includes an automatically calculated number of days remaining before expiry.
Lots are grouped into practical expiry bands:
- Expired
- 0–3 days
- 4–7 days
- 8+ days
Stock movements
Usage and disposal are recorded against the relevant lot in the Movements sheet.
The Expiry Pick List helps identify which usable batches should leave inventory first.

Filter the lot list by status and sort by expiry date to quickly identify the stock requiring attention.
