WareStat is a business management tool for small businesses that need to track inventory — customers, products, orders, suppliers, and stock, all in one place. It runs entirely on your computer: no account, no monthly login, no data sent anywhere. Everything lives in a local database on the machine where you installed it.
The core pieces
- Customers — who you sell to
- Products — your catalog, with stock levels, cost and pricing
- Suppliers — who you buy from
- Orders — a sale to a customer, moving through New → In Progress → Completed (or Cancelled)
- Invoices — the billing document generated once an order is ready to bill
- Purchase Orders — a request to a supplier, moving through Draft → Confirmed → In Transit → Completed
- Warehouse Movements — the running log of every stock change, automatic or manual
Where to start
WareStat has no setup wizard, so open Settings → Company Data first and fill in your business details — VAT number, address, logo. That information appears on every invoice you generate from here on.
After that, the Dashboard is your home screen. It shows stock value, low-stock alerts, pending orders, and this month’s revenue, and refreshes every time you open it.
