1. LICENSE GRANT
This version of WareStat (version 1.2) is provided FREE OF CHARGE for both
PERSONAL and COMMERCIAL use, subject to the terms and conditions of this
license agreement.
WareStat grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable
license to install and use this software.
By installing, copying, or using this software, you agree to be bound by the
terms of this license. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.

You are permitted to:

software to any third party, whether for free or for commercial gain
✗ Use this software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
REDISTRIBUTION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This software may only be distributed
by WareStat or authorized parties. Any unauthorized distribution constitutes
a violation of this license and applicable copyright laws.

4. OWNERSHIP

WareStat DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
• The software will meet your requirements
• The software will operate uninterrupted or without errors
• The software is free from bugs, defects, viruses, or vulnerabilities
• Calculations, reports, inventory data, invoices, or results are accurate
• Data will be preserved without loss or corruption
YOU USE THIS SOFTWARE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WareStat, ITS CREATOR,
OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Loss of data, databases, or files
• Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or anticipated savings
• Business interruption or downtime
• Incorrect calculations, reports, invoices, or inventory management
• System failure, corruption, or incompatibility
THIS APPLIES EVEN IF WareStat HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WareStat’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED €1 (ONE EURO).

7. DATA AND PRIVACY
This software stores all data LOCALLY on your device. No data is transmitted
to WareStat or any third party.
You are the data controller for any personal data processed using this software.
You are solely responsible for:
• Compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR)
• Obtaining all necessary consents from data subjects
• Implementing appropriate security measures
• Creating, maintaining, and testing data backups
• Protecting your system and data from unauthorized access
WareStat is NOT responsible for data loss or damage caused by:
• Hardware failure
• Software bugs or errors
• User error or negligence
• Malware, viruses, or cyberattacks
• Accidental deletion or file corruption

8. TERMINATION
This license is effective until terminated.
Your rights under this license terminate automatically without notice if you
fail to comply with any term of this agreement.
Upon termination, you must:
• Cease all use of the software
• Destroy all copies of the software in your possession

9. FUTURE VERSIONS AND UPDATES
This license applies exclusively to WareStat version 1.2.
WareStat may release updates, patches, or future versions at its sole
discretion, which may:
• Add, modify, or remove features
• Introduce bugs or incompatibilities
• Require system or hardware changes
You are not obligated to install updates. WareStat is not responsible for any
issues arising from updates or from the decision not to install them.
Future versions may be released under different license terms.

10. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
This software includes third-party open-source components, each governed by
its own license terms. See LICENSE-THIRD-PARTY.txt for details.
Those licenses remain separate and applicable.

11. NO SUPPORT OBLIGATION
WareStat has no obligation to provide technical support, maintenance, updates,
or bug fixes. Any support provided is entirely discretionary and may be
discontinued at any time.

12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WareStat from any claims, damages,
liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
• Your use or misuse of the software
• Your violation of this agreement
• Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of Italy.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
Tribunale di Caltanissetta.

14. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable,
the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This license constitutes the entire agreement between you and WareStat
concerning the software and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.
